A Blues and Funk night with Bermuda's only Blues Band - Bones
Friday October 8, 2010
10:00pm
@ Shine's (The Stables, Reid Street Extension)
Mixing it up this Friday night will be Graham Pewter (on drums), Neil Burnie (on Sax/Harmonica/vocals/anything he can find to play),
Andrew Chamberlain (of piano playing fame), David Skinner (lead guitar.....the real guitar hero) and Rick Hawke (bass) at Shine's!
Not sure where that is? Find your way to the Reid Street Extension and check-in The Stables. You'll be at the newest home to live Bermuda music.
...How much is this all going to cost you? For $10 you get to enjoy Bones play a raucous mix of Blues, Funk and Original Material with a unique sound and vibe.
The Band was originally the brainchild of Graham Pewter (formerly of “Shakey Ground”) and Neil Burnie (formerly of the subway tunnel).
Today this recently formed quintet continues to make a splash all over Bermuda and refuses to play “Mustang Sally” unless bribed heavily.
So if you enjoyed the music at the recent festival and saw Bones at the Family Centre Beach Bash, but haven't had your fill of Bermuda's own live music come to Shine's this Friday night.
Are you a musician? Bring your instrument and jam along in the later set. Just make sure you're there!
